6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kirill Dostoevsky ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Todd Maxwell! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Steve Erwin and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dostoevsky misses with a lunging right hand
and Maxwell counters with a takedown into side control. Maxwell is looking to take a break and control but Dostoevsky is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Maxwell decides to stand back up. Maxwell steps back and let's Dostoevsky get back to his feet. Dostoevsky tries for a takedown but Maxwell circles away easily and Maxwell counters with a nice double leg into half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dostoevsky wants to get back to his feet.

Todd Maxwell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Maxwell gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Dostoevsky to score an easy takedown into full guard. The fight stays on the outside here - Maxwell looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Maxwell misses with a right hand so Dostoevsky counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Dostoevsky postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Maxwell avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Maxwell is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Maxwell closes the distance looking to clinch and Dostoevsky counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Maxwell's guard now. Dostoevsky throws a big right hand that misses. Dostoevsky slips nicely into half guard. Dostoevsky looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Dostoevsky working over Maxwell with some ground and pound. Maxwell looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
