Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Separi Seppo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Weltto Wirtanen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wirtanen has chosen Mt Eden Dubstep - Sierra Leone as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Tarja Halkonen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wirtanen avoids a punch combination nicely.
Seppo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Wirtanen circles away quickly and effectively.
Seppo bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Wirtanen's head backwards.
Wirtanen bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Seppo misses with a double jab.
Wirtanen shoots in for a takedown but Seppo shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Seppo connects with a good right hand that stumbles Wirtanen. Wirtanen circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
It looks like Weltto Wirtanen has been cut.
Seppo scores with a crisp jab that stopped Wirtanen in his tracks.

Wirtanen takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Seppo lands a left and a right that send Wirtanen crashing to the mat, dazed. Seppo thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Separi Seppo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Wirtanen shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Seppo sprawls well. Seppo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Wirtanen gets slowly back to his feet.
Separi Seppo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Weltto Wirtanen.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Wirtanen takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Wirtanen tries for a takedown but Seppo sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Seppo misses with a wild combination.
Wirtanen misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Seppo is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Seppo enables Wirtanen to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Seppo manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wirtanen won't allow Seppo to sweep him here.
Wirtanen thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Wirtanen wants to control from the top but Seppo keeps moving.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Weltto Wirtanen was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Seppo's corner calls for a 1-2. Seppo obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
No joy there for Seppo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Wirtanen fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Seppo sprawls well initially but Wirtanen persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Wirtanen maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Seppo could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Wirtanen has cracked it and Seppo is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Wirtanen!
