Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Seth Mangler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ulrich Widerstass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mangler comes to the cage accompanied by I Stand Alone. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Winston Howard and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mangler lands a nice shot to the body.
Widerstass looks gassed!
Widerstass on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Mangler feints and then cracks Widerstass's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Widerstass down.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Ulrich Widerstass seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Widerstass takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Widerstass tries to sprawl but Mangler drives through with a takedown into half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mangler winds up and cracks Widerstass with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Mangler is nestled in close to Widerstass, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Mangler has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Mangler connects with a nice short shot to Widerstass's temple.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Seth Mangler has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Widerstass tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Mangler counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That has opened up Ulrich Widerstass's cut even more.
Mangler works the jab nicely.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Mangler has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Widerstass can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Widerstass is sitting in close to Mangler's body. Mangler has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Widerstass is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Widerstass is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Mangler.
