Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mike Angelo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ramon Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ramon Silva will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

16 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Angelo!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ramon Silva!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, George Francis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Silva lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Angelo circles away quickly and effectively.
Silva finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Silva tries a head kick but it misses.
Silva tries to land a front kick but Angelo steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Silva misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Silva tries to score a power double leg takedown but Angelo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Silva somewhat.
Angelo takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Angelo shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Silva manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Angelo is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Angelo thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Angelo drops back looking for a leg! Silva is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Silva manages to kick Angelo off! Angelo jumps back into Silva's guard.

Angelo drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Angelo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Silva looking for a sweep. Not yet Silva, not yet.
Angelo drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Angelo seems to have locked his on tight now - Silva screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Angelo, as he picks up the win!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Mike Angelo!
