Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between osama ozzy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Conn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Eliza Hachem and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Conn closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
ozzy manages to get back to half guard.
ozzy trying to hold on to Conn's head to control him but Conn postures up.
ozzy manages to escape and get back to his feet!
ozzy misses with a takedown attempt
and Conn counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
ozzy looking for a guillotine here but Conn defends easily.
ozzy looking to hit a scissor sweep but Conn is one step ahead there.
Conn trying to control but ozzy is working from the bottom.
Conn scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
ozzy avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Conn postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! ozzy is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Conn, into his guard.

ozzy is fighting to break Conn's control of his arms but Conn is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Conn wants to get back to his feet but ozzy is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
ozzy tries to free his leg and advance position but Conn is retaining full guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Billy Conn.
ozzy tries to sprawl but Conn drives through with a takedown into half guard.

ozzy is pressing down on Conn's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Conn loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

ozzy is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Conn keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of ozzy's head.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now ozzy is on top in guard.
ozzy postures up in Conn's guard and throws a big left but Conn blocks it.

Conn has his foot on ozzy's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. ozzy works his way back into a safe position though.

Conn wants to control but ozzy postures up.
ozzy stands up and beckons Conn to his feet.

and ozzy counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Conn really doesn't want to stay on the ground with ozzy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Conn can do anything to dispel that myth.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

ozzy manages to capitalize on a mistake by Conn to take his back!

The crowd hopeful of a finish here - ozzy's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
ozzy is really struggling to control Conn but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Conn takes a big shot to the side of the head.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
ozzy is trying to control but Conn is trying to escape here - he's now mounted.

ozzy sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Conn's guard.
Well, if ozzy is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
ozzy is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Conn doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time ozzy.

ozzy wants to control but Conn is keeping him busy.
ozzy wants to stand up but Conn has a hold of him and won't allow it.
ozzy decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Conn lands with a nice combination. ozzy backs away looking to recover.
ozzy scores with a head kick.
Conn shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Conn looking to sit in guard and control but ozzy gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Conn is pulling down on ozzy's head to control his posture.
ozzy trying to control the position from guard on top but Conn is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

I would just about give that final round to Billy Conn.
I've got Conn winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
