Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Digga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sheikh Hasina Wazed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wazed has chosen Mercedes Sosa - Como la Cigarra as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bobby Digga!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sheikh Hasina Wazed!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Summer Carpenter and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Digga misses with a takedown
and Wazed counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Digga fails with the takedown
and Wazed counters with a straight right hand.
Digga shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Wazed counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bobby Digga. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wazed throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Digga was covering up waiting for the punch and Wazed finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Wazed passes into half guard.
Wazed prevents Digga from improving his position.
Wazed moves nicely into side control.
Digga is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Wazed's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Wazed is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Wazed seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Digga knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wazed on the ground.
Digga wants to control but Wazed is keeping busy and won't allow it.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Wazed uses his free foot to push down on Digga's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Digga.
That's two minutes gone in the round.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Digga keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Wazed working for a submission but Digga is keeping him at bay.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Wazed has hold of Digga's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Digga manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Wazed is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Wazed!
