Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mick Drury!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Erico Plaza!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drury with a poor takedown
and Plaza counters with a thumping low kick.
Drury throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Drury lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Drury throws out a loose jab but Plaza uses good head movement to avoid it.
Plaza throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Drury.
That kick from Plaza tenderised Drury's leg. Drury is trying to keep his angry face on.
Drury misses with a looping right.
Drury is trying hard to land a takedown here. Plaza sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Plaza throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Drury has his takedown stuffed
and Plaza counters with a good low kick that Drury was not able to check.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mick Drury. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Drury slips a jab from Plaza.
Drury misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Drury takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Drury is breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Plaza feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Drurys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Plaza throws a nice looking combination but Drury bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Plaza connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Drury's hands.
Drury doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Plaza counters with a straight right hand.

Drury is rocked!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Plaza, right into the meat.
Oh Drury is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Plaza lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Drury head around and knocks him out cold! Plaza hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
