Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mirko CroCop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nath Stephens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nath Stephens will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mirko CroCop! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nath Stephens! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Eliza Hachem and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! CroCop fails with an attempt to clinch.
Nath Stephens seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. CroCop looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Stephens changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. CroCop tries to avoid it but Stephens manages to keep hold of a leg and drag CroCop to the ground. CroCop escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. CroCop tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Stephens paws at him with a jab and circles away. Stephens fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Stephens tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but CroCop swivels and escapes. Mirko CroCop has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nath Stephens. CroCop swats away the attempt to clinch by Stephens. Stephens looks for a takedown but CroCop sprawls well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. CroCop swinging wildly here.

That's one minute gone in the round. Stephens shoots in for a double leg but CroCop sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Stephens shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts CroCop as he jumps to the side. Stephens moves to clinch but CroCop breaks away and CroCop counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stephens controls CroCop momentarily but CroCop frees himself. CroCop cracks Stephens with a solid left hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stephens is trying to control the position but CroCop postures up. CroCop with a flurry of punches that miss. CroCop gets to his feet - Stephens follows without any prompting. Stephens lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but CroCop circles away quickly and effectively. Stephens tries to clinch but CroCop moves away and CroCop counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. CroCop postures up.
CroCop sitting in guard here, content to control. Stephens looking for submissions from the bottom but instead CroCop passes into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stephens tries to bench press CroCop off him but CroCop keeps the position. CroCop wants to lay and pray for a moment but Stephens keeps working. Stephens looking for a sweep but CroCop has passed into full mount! Oh no! Stephens is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Stephens tries to hold on but CroCop pushes him away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Stephens really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
CroCop looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. CroCop dominating with strikes here. CroCop landing strikes from the mount. Stephens tries to hold on but CroCop pushes him away. CroCop jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Stephens manages to avoid the submission attempt. CroCop wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Stephens, who protects the arm well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mirko CroCop dominated that round. The cut man is working on Mirko CroCop's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Stephens misses with a takedown and CroCop counters with a big head kick but Stephens shrugs it off. Stephens misses with a takedown attempt and CroCop counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Stephens! CroCop punishing his opponent with strikes. Stephens tries to control the position but CroCop now has his back.
CroCop lands shots from the back. CroCop is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Stephens has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but CroCop has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Stephens taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. CroCop doesn't care though - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Mirko CroCop!
