Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Memin Pinguin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boltok Sagdiev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Memin Pinguin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Memin Pinguin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Boltok Sagdiev!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pinguin doesn't manage to clinch there - Sagdiev circles away.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Sagdiev.
Pinguin is trying to escape the position but Sagdiev is controlling the position.
Let's hope that Sagdiev has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Boltok Sagdiev has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Sagdiev shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Pinguin is trying to defend but Sagdiev finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Boltok Sagdiev was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Horrible takedown by Sagdiev or perhaps it was just good defense by Pinguin which made him look bad.

Pinguin tries to clinch but Sagdiev moves out of range.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Sagdiev shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Pinguin but Pinguin pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Pinguin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sagdiev paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Sagdiev shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Sagdiev was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Sagdiev takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Sagdiev tries to control but Pinguin wriggling away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Boltok Sagdiev dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Pinguin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sagdiev paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Sagdiev shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Pinguin's guard.
Sagdiev is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Sagdiev is breathing heavily.

Boltok Sagdiev has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Pinguin is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Pinguin tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sagdiev swats him away and circles back towards the center.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Pinguin fails with an attempt to clinch.
Sagdiev looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Sagdiev.
Sagdiev circles away from the clinch attempt.
Boltok Sagdiev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Sagdiev fails with a takedown attempt.
Memin Pinguin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Boltok Sagdiev.
Sagdiev shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Pinguin sprawls well. Pinguin wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sagdiev gets slowly back to his feet.
Sagdiev fails with a takedown attempt.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Sagdiev shoots in for a takedown but Pinguin shows good takedown defense.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Pinguin moves in looking to clinch but Sagdiev pushes him off.
Pinguin tries to close the distance and clinch but Sagdiev swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Boltok Sagdiev showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Memin Pinguin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Boltok Sagdiev.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pinguin tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sagdiev swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Sagdiev takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Sagdiev decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Pinguin is refusing to be controlled, as Sagdiev sits in half guard.
Pinguin regains full guard. Nicely done.

Pinguin has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Sagdiev doesn't defend quickly enough and Pinguin has managed to lock this one up! Can Sagdiev escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Pinguin on a fantastic submission victory.
