The judges for this bout are William Peck, Robert Douchet and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mica shoots for a double leg takedown but McCoy sprawls well. He's pushed Mica's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
McCoy lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Mica sprawling to the canvas. McCoy follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Mica hang on?
Mica is rocked!
It looks like Matt Mica has been cut.
McCoy is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Mica defends it well.
Oh Mica is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

McCoy decides to stand up.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - McCoy has eaten all the pies!
McCoy escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
McCoy has closed the distance and engaged Mica in a clinch.

Scott McCoy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McCoy fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mica sprawls well initially but McCoy persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
McCoy in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Mica tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from McCoy!
