Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marcos Mollestad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Schulz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Schulz has chosen ONYX - Raze it up as his entrance music. Mark Schulz will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marcos Mollestad!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mark Schulz!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Wagner Zegers and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schulz shoots in and drives through. Mollestad sprawls well.

Mollestad closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Schulz trying to control the position but instead, Mollestad has worked for underhooks and has pushed Schulz into the cage.
A bit of stalling here from Mollestad.

Schulz breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Schulz jumps guard and drags Mollestad to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Schulz bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Mollestad's guard.

Schulz uses his free foot to push down on Mollestad's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Mollestad.

Schulz is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Mollestad is surviving well by controlling Schulz's body position as best he can.

You get the feeling that Mollestad really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Schulz can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Mollestad is looking to escape.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Mark Schulz showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Schulz looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Schulz looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Mollestad with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Mollestad tries to kick Schulz off but Schulz keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
