Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Liddel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Riddle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Chuck Liddel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Chuck Riddle!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Daniel Cesar and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liddel misses with a double jab
and Riddle counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Riddle.
Riddle got a little sloppy there for a moment and Liddel has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Riddle has managed to get both his arms back between Liddel's legs - danger averted.
Liddel knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Riddle on the ground.
Liddel is trying to keep Riddle in close.
Riddle stands and throws Liddel's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Riddle postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Liddel takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
A control attempt from Liddel but he's now mounted!
Riddle pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Riddle landing strikes from the mount.
It looks like Chuck Liddel has been cut.
Riddle has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Riddle cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Riddle lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Liddel is rocked!
Chuck Liddel's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Riddle softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Liddel is out cold! Riddle jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chuck Riddle!
