Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Boris Travos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Illidan Stormrage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Travos's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Korn - Blind. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Boris Travos! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Illidan Stormrage! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Patrick Alders and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stormrage tries to clinch but Travos moves away and Travos counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Travos perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Travos seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Stormrage for as long as he can get away with. Travos wants to control but Stormrage is keeping him busy. Travos misses with a head shot. Stormrage uses the momentum to regain guard. Travos trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Stormrage keeping moving, preventing Travos from controlling successfully. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Stormrage utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Travos stops Stormrage from standing up. Travos stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Stormrage swivels though and keeps the full guard. Stormrage really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Travos. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Travos is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Travos controlling from the top position. Travos postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Stormrage being controlled here, momentarily. Travos trying to control but Stormrage is working from the bottom. Travos is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Stormrage keeping moving, preventing Travos from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
We're going to have a standup here because Boris Travos wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Stormrage closes the distance looking to clinch and Travos counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Travos throws a big right hand that misses. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Travos accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Travos postures up in Stormrage's guard and throws a big left but Stormrage blocks it. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Stormrage can do anything to dispel that myth. Travos lands a couple of elbows. Travos loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Travos advances position into side control! Travos throwing strikes but Stormrage manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
That's four minutes gone in the round. An elbow from Stormrage crashes against the mat.
You can see the frustration on Travos's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Travos tries to bench press Stormrage off him but Stormrage keeps the position. Travos manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Stormrage is staying active underneath Travos, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Still in half guard, Travos seems content to control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Travos wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Stormrage, who protects the arm well. Travos trying to control the position but Stormrage is working away. Stormrage defending against the ground and pound. Stormrage avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Travos.
That's one minute gone in the round. Travos trying to control the action but Stormrage is working from the bottom. Travos throws a strike aimed at the side of Stormrage's head but Stormrage avoids it well. Stormrage managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Travos.
The referee asks Travos politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Travos prefers to stall for the moment though. Travos trying to control the position but Stormrage is working away. Travos is chipping away with strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Travos creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Stormrage sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Travos misses with the ground and pound. Travos trying to control the position but Stormrage is working away. Travos working the ground and pound from side control. Travos working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Stormrage manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Travos perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Stormrage wants to get back to full guard. Stormrage wants to get back to his feet.
Travos is looking to take a break and control but Stormrage is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Travos thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Stormrage's head. Travos is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard. Travos trying to control the position from guard on top but Stormrage is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Stormrage working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Travos. Travos is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Stormrage is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Travos is controlling him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Boris Travos dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Stormrage gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Stormrage keeping full guard, as Travos tries to pass. Travos controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Travos slips nicely into half guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Travos in particular looking to stall. Travos not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stormrage is staying active underneath Travos, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Stormrage is defending against the submission attempts here by Travos.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Travos is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Travos stalling away here and it's allowed Stormrage to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Travos looking to sit in guard and control but Stormrage gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Stormrage trying to control the position from guard on top but Travos is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stormrage thows a big elbow that misses. Stormrage wants to control from the top but Travos keeps moving. That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Stormrage prevents Travos from escaping the position. Travos tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Stormrage tries to control but Travos wriggling away. Illidan Stormrage has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
And that's the end of the fight! Boris Travos showed his dominance in that final round. Well Travos has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
