Spitler ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Saukko tries to bum rush Spitler with a series of wild strikes but Spitler uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Saukko closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Spitler won't allow Saukko to pass to mount.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Per Saukko.
Spitler tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Saukko was well out of range. Poor timing from Spitler.
Spitler misses with a left hand
and Saukko makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Saukko dives in and grabs Spitler's left leg, looking for a takedown. Spitler pushes down on Saukko's head and hops out.
