The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua throws a leg kick
and Lettu counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Rua looking to hit a scissor sweep but Lettu is one step ahead there.
Rua is working an open guard so Lettu takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Lettu fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Rua looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Rua throws a lazy head kick
and Lettu counters with a one-two to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Lettu counters with a nice kick to the body.

A low kick from Rua is predictable there
and Lettu cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Mauricio Rua has been cut.

and Lettu counters with a thumping low kick.
Lettu lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Rua at a distance.
Lettu lands the left hand.

Lettu drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Rua right on the button. Rua goes down! Lettu follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Lettu gets the win via TKO!
