Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Davi Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Franklin Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson has chosen Franklin's Theme Song as his entrance music. Jackson has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Davi Alves!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Franklin Jackson!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson ducks right into an uppercut from Alves.
Alves looks to land a combination. Jackson sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

It looks like Franklin Jackson has been cut.
Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Alves paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Alves throws a chopping leg kick but Jackson manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
A swing and a miss from Jackson.

Alves shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Jackson looks gassed!
Alves thowing shots but they're missing.
Jackson is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Jackson is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Alves postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Jackson badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Alves around the waist but Alves pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Alves is the winner by TKO! Alves jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
