0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Geoffrey Smith! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Steven Brown and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smith swats away the attempt to clinch by Salace. Smith tries a low kick but Salace avoids it. Smith tries a head kick but it misses.
Salace swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Smith closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Smith lands in his opponent's guard. Salace checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Salace closes the distance but Smith moves to the side and Smith moves into the clinch. Salace is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Smith pulls him back up using the underhooks. Smith managing to block the knees to the body from Salace.

Salace knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Smith on the ground. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Smith thows a huge punch but Salace dodges it nicely.

The ref calls for Salace to stand up. Salace wants to clinch but Smith slips to the side and Smith counters with a single leg into guard. Salace didn't expect that. Salace keeping moving, preventing Smith from controlling successfully. Smith postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Smith decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Smith shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Salace napping and manages to drive through into side control!
That's four minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! An elbow from Smith crashes against the mat.
Smith thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Smith creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Salace sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Smith is putting a hurting on Salace here, landing some big shots from side control. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Smith decides to take the fight back to the feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Geoffrey Smith has got the better of the ground game so far. Smith with shots to the head and body - Salace looks very uncomfortable down there. Smith putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Smith has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Both fighters are breathing heavily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Smith fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Right on cue, Smith cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
And that's the end of the fight! Geoffrey Smith comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Smith has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
