0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mike Oxmall! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Ian Loll and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crosby is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Crosby fails with the takedown. Crosby fails with a takedown attempt. Oxmall scores with a takedown into Crosby's guard. Crosby working for a triangle but Oxmall defends it easily.
Crosby is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Crosby is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Oxmall has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Crosby is proving hard to escape from. Oxmall must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Oxmall stands up from guard. Let's bang! Crosby swats away the attempt to clinch by Oxmall. Crosby doesn't succeed with the takedown and Oxmall counters with a left and a right that stings Crosby. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Evan Crosby. That's going to take a lot out of him. Crosby gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Oxmall counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Oxmall.

Crosby has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Oxmall can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Oxmall controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Oxmall trying to control but Crosby is working from the bottom. Crosby wants to sweep here but Oxmall controlling him for the moment. Oxmall looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Oxmall's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Crosby is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Oxmall is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Crosby bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Oxmall's guard. Crosby forces his way into half guard. Oxmall is defending against the submission attempts here by Crosby.
Crosby is working for a kimura but Oxmall is defending it quite comfortably.

Oxmall wants to get back to full guard. Oxmall tries to kick Crosby off but Crosby keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Crosby is trying to control the action in half guard but Oxmall is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Crosby seems to be working for a kimura but Oxmall defends the submission attempt. Oxmall moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crosby forces his way into half guard. Oxmall is breathing heavily. Crosby in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Oxmall tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Crosby!
