Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Julius Prime! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rami Stereo! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stereo scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Prime avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Stereo. Prime is trying to improve his position. Prime is working hard here to advance position. Prime defending against the ground and pound. Stereo is working Prime over with some ground and pound from side control. You can see the frustration on Prime's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Prime knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Stereo on the ground. Prime is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Stereo is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Prime tries to buck Stereo off but Stereo is having none of it. Stereo is chipping away with strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Prime struggling a bit here. Stereo is putting a hurting on Prime here, landing some big shots from side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Prime can't do much from the bottom here. Stereo wants to control but Prime is keeping him busy. Stereo working away. Prime is looking to reverse the position. Prime dodges the ground and pound from Stereo. Prime is trying to get back to half guard. Prime is trying to control Stereo's posture but Stereo avoids it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Prime takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Prime tries to buck Stereo off but Stereo is having none of it. Stereo has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. You can see the frustration on Prime's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Stereo creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Prime sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Stereo working the head and body with strikes. Stereo working away. Stereo working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Stereo looks gassed! Prime struggling a bit here. A control attempt from Prime but he's now mounted! Stereo working the ground and pound effectively.
Prime tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Prime tries to lock up and control but Stereo gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Stereo scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Stereo lands a big shot there that rocks Prime but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Stereo controlling from mount. Prime is squirming around, avoiding Stereo's attempts to control the action. Prime is wriggling around trying to escape.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Stereo is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Prime can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Prime is in all sorts of trouble here.
Prime tries to hold on but Stereo postures up. Prime tries to reverse the position but Stereo maintains control. Prime is bucking up trying to escape but Stereo cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Stereo punishing his opponent with strikes. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Prime tries to hold on but Stereo postures up. Prime really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Prime wants to control but Stereo is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rami Stereo dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
A head kick misses from Prime. Prime falls off balance throwing a combination
and Stereo counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Prime controls Stereo momentarily but Stereo frees himself. Stereo controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Prime is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Prime pulls Stereo in to control the position. Prime on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Prime tries to get out of the position. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Julius Prime has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Stereo drives through with a takedown into guard. Stereo is breathing heavily. Stereo preventing the sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stereo wants to control from the top but Prime keeps moving. Prime manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Stereo can't escape the position.
Prime pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Stereo tries to hold on but Prime postures up. Stereo is looking to improve his position but Prime isn't that keen on the idea. Poor strikes thrown by Prime there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Prime is landing with some decent strikes but Stereo is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Prime with shots to the head and body - Stereo looks very uncomfortable down there. Prime lands a nice shot to the head. Prime landing strikes from the mount and Stereo is in trouble!
Stereo is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Prime working Stereo over with strikes here. Stereo is still in real trouble! Can Prime finish him? Prime landing strikes from the mount. Prime connects with a bit shot that sees Stereo covering up! More strikes from Prime and the referee jumps in to stop the fight!
