3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Frank Horrigan! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Emerson Jorge and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrigan throws a looping overhand right but Fuhrmann ducks down to avoid it. Horrigan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Fuhrmann manages to avoid it. Horrigan throws a lazy right hand but Fuhrmann sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Horrigan throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Horrigan connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Horrigan pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Horrigan takes a swing at Fuhrmann's ribcage but misses. Horrigan ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Horrigan lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Horrigan throws a series of strikes that have Fuhrmann backpedaling.
Nice straight punches there by Horrigan. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Horrigan. Fuhrmann takes one to the chin there. Horrigan connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Horrigan throws a lazy right hand but Fuhrmann sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. No joy there for Horrigan, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

That's one minute gone in the round. Horrigan throws a one two combo.
Fuhrmann is rocked! Fuhrmann defending well as Horrigan loads up on a big left hand. Oh Fuhrmann is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Fuhrmann staying out of range there. Frank Horrigan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Fuhrmann takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Fuhrmann is breathing heavily. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A telegraphed right hand from Horrigan misses the target. Frank Horrigan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Horrigan swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Horrigan is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Fuhrmann steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Horrigan. Fuhrmann seems to have got his legs back now. Horrigan circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Fuhrmann to the canvas! Fuhrmann doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Horrigan keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
