Martensite is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by the Hellacopters - (Gotta Get Some Action) Now! . Mongo Martensite has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Damien Moia's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martensite gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Martensite goes for a takedown attempt but Moia pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Martensite drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Martensite tries to score with some ground and pound. Moia controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Martensite wants to stand but Moia has his arm trapped.
Martensite goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Moia has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Martensite but great work by Moia.
Moia wants to take a breather but Martensite manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Moia.

Martensite misses with a head shot. Moia uses the momentum to regain guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Martensite accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Martensite postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Martensite throws and elbow that misses. Moia uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Martensite's guard. Nice move by Moia!
Martensite can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Moia controls the pace.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Martensite wants to sweep but no luck.
Martensite keeping moving, preventing Moia from controlling successfully.
Martensite pushes Moia off and gets back to his feet.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Moia enables Martensite to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Moia manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Martensite throws and elbow that misses. Moia uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Martensite's guard. Nice move by Moia!

Moia drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Moia takes a little break here. Martensite wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Moia working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Moia is looking to take a break and control but Martensite is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Martensite tries to improve position but can't.

Moia has hold of Martensite's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Martensite seems comfortable defending it but Moia has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Martensite is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Martensite is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Moia couldn't care less - he's delighted!
