Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ras Butten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DJ Benn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Butten comes to the cage accompanied by El Guapo Theme Song. Benn comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Geto Boys - Damn It Feels Good To Be A Gangsta kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

17 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, DJ Benn! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Aafke Stam and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Benn misses with a looping left. Butten defending well as Benn loads up on a big left hand. Benn throws an overhand right that lands on Butten's shoulder, as Butten tries to avoid the shot. Benn misses with an uppercut. Benn circles away from the clinch attempt.
A head kick misses from Butten. Benn shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Butten manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Benn is in close to Butten's body, working some short punches and elbows. Benn postures up in Butten's guard and throws a big left but Butten blocks it. Butten tries to land a sweep but no joy. Benn sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Butten's guard. Benn is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Butten taking some punishment here, with Benn in his half guard. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Butten with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
