Oakenhorse comes to the cage accompanied by TechnoViking - TechnoVikiing. McGee has chosen Angel of Death as his entrance music. 14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Murphy McGee! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Anthony Taglia and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Oakenhorse misses with a takedown attempt and McGee counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Oakenhorse actively working from the bottom here. Oakenhorse gets full guard. Oakenhorse wants to sweep here but McGee controlling him for the moment. McGee got a little sloppy there for a moment and Oakenhorse has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, McGee has managed to get both his arms back between Oakenhorse's legs - danger averted. Oakenhorse throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Oakenhorse isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. McGee stacks Oakenhorse on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by McGee! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Oakenhorse is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. McGee wants to control but Oakenhorse is keeping him busy. Oakenhorse regains half guard. Oakenhorse looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Oakenhorse looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Oakenhorse looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. McGee thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Oakenhorse moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. McGee wants to stand but Oakenhorse has a closed guard, so he can't escape. McGee in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. McGee must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. McGee wants to control from the top but Oakenhorse keeps moving. Oakenhorse escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. McGee gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. McGee looking to pass the guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Oakenhorse is looking for a triangle but McGee pushes his legs off easily.
McGee wants to control from the top but Oakenhorse keeps moving. Oakenhorse pushes a forearm under McGee's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, McGee is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
