The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
melody lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Unitas shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. melody manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
melody wants to stand up but Unitas is controlling him.
Unitas slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Unitas looking to pass the guard.
Unitas slips nicely into half guard.
melody tries to get to full guard but Unitas has control of the leg.
Unitas thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed melody's head.
Unitas stands up from half guard.
melody closes the distance and clinches.

Unitas is trying to drag melody to the mat but melody just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Unitas drops to a knee looking for a takedown but melody gets the underhooks and prevents it.
melody is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
melody manages to pull guard.
melody wants to hit a switch here but Unitas passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for melody there!
melody is wriggling around trying to escape.

Unitas trying to control but melody is having none of it.
Unitas goes for an armbar but melody turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from melody.
Unitas is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! melody has his hands clasped together but Unitas extends an breaks melody's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Unitas.
