Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mikko Vilkastus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wanderlei Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mikko Vilkastus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Wanderlei Silva!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Johanna Lukiainen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vilkastus throws a sloppy head kick
letting Silva counter with a right hand.
Vilkastus tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Silva counters with a nice uppercut.
Vilkastus throws the kick towards the body but Silva avoids it.
Vilkastus throws a sloppy head kick and Silva moves out of range easily.
Silva takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Silva crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Vilkastus - the referee stops the clock and Silva gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Vilkastus. Silva manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Silva throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Vilkastus was covering up waiting for the punch and Silva finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Vilkastus is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Silva defends well.
Silva controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Silva wants to control from the top but Vilkastus keeps moving.
Vilkastus utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Vilkastus escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Silva gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
