Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brian Caldwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Esteban Delgado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Caldwell has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. The key to victory for Brian Caldwell has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brian Caldwell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Esteban Delgado! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, David Schapiro and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Delgado closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Caldwell quickly recovers to half guard. Caldwell tries to get to full guard but Delgado has control of the leg. Caldwell knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Delgado on the ground. Delgado takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Caldwell is breathing heavily. Delgado passes to side control. Delgado decides to stand back up. Delgado shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Delgado showed some decent athleticism there. Delgado not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Delgado with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Delgado is working for a kimura but Caldwell is defending it quite comfortably.
That's one minute gone in the round. Delgado keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Delgado is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Caldwell doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Delgado. Delgado winds up and cracks Caldwell with a swinging punch to the side of the head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Delgado winds up and cracks Caldwell with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Still in half guard, Delgado seems content to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Delgado works his foot free and advances to mount. Delgado has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Delgado looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Delgado tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Delgado lands a big shot there that rocks Caldwell but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
And that's the end of the fight! Esteban Delgado comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Delgado has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
