Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Carl Morton! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Morton wants to clinch and Ward counters with a single leg into guard. Morton didn't expect that. Morton wants to get back to his feet but Ward is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Ward trying to control the position from guard on top but Morton is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ward gets to his feet. Morton looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Morton closes the distance looking to clinch and Ward counters with a takedown into side control. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ward has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Morton closes the distance looking to clinch and Ward counters with a single leg into guard. Morton didn't expect that.
That's one minute gone in the round. Morton looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ward is one step ahead there. Morton keeping moving, preventing Ward from controlling successfully. Ward wants to stand but Morton is controlling his posture from full guard. Ward gets to his feet - Morton follows without any prompting. Morton tries to clinch but fails miserably and Ward counters with a single leg into guard. Morton didn't expect that.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Morton not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Ward stands and steps away. Morton gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Ward lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Morton looks gassed! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ward lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Morton at a distance.
Ward scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Ward rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Morton moves out of range and avoids them all easily. No joy there for Ward, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kerry Ward seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Morton takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
It looks like Carl Morton has been cut. Ward lands a head shot. Ward is throwing punches like he's double parked. Oh my word! Huge right hand from Ward shuts the power down on Morton. Lights out, game over! Ward is your winner.
