The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blackburn rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Briggs moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Blackburn throws a nice looking combination but Briggs bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Briggs shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Blackburn wants to control but Briggs is having none of it.
Briggs lands a big elbow - Blackburn is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Blackburn is forced to tap out!
