Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randy Couture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luka Basara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Basara has chosen Eminem feat. Rihanna-I love the way u lie as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Good leg kick by Basara there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Basara tries to score with a low kick but Couture moves his leg out of the way.
Couture blocks a low kick nicely.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Couture.

Couture closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Basara quickly recovers to half guard.

Basara is staying active underneath Couture, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Couture stalling away here and it's allowed Basara to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Couture wants to lay and pray for a moment but Basara keeps working.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

A close round but Luka Basara will probably get the nod.
That's time! Couture's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Couture shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Basara manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Couture has gone for a leg lock! Basara slips out almost immediately though and dives into Couture's guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Couture distracts Basara with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Couture drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Couture seems to have locked his on tight now - Basara screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Couture, as he picks up the win!
