Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robbie Brawler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christian Clooten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Robbie Brawler could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Christian Clooten's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Robbie Brawler! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Christian Clooten! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Alec Ball and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Clooten throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Brawler tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Clooten is in Brawler's guard. Clooten prevents Brawler from getting back to his feet. Brawler avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Clooten has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Clooten is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Brawler is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Brawler has escaped and now he's on top! Brawler avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Brawler would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Clooten manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Clooten tries to control but Brawler wriggling away. Clooten looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Clooten putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Clooten is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Brawler to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Brawler shrugs it off.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brawler tries to get back to half guard but can't. Clooten thowing shots but they're missing. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Brawler takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Clooten controlling the pace for now. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Clooten goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Brawler is on top in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Clooten is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Clooten is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Brawler defends well. Brawler knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Clooten on the ground. Clooten looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Brawler got a little sloppy there for a moment and Clooten has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Brawler has managed to get both his arms back between Clooten's legs - danger averted. Brawler wants to stand but Clooten is controlling his posture from full guard. Brawler has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Clooten bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Brawler's guard. Clooten has gone for a leg lock! Brawler slips out almost immediately though and dives into Clooten's guard. Clooten had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Brawler defends it easily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Clooten keeping moving, preventing Brawler from controlling successfully. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Brawler wants to stand but Clooten has a closed guard, so he can't escape. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Christian Clooten dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Clooten shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Clooten not landing any meaningful shots this time. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Clooten lands a nice short elbow. Clooten thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Clooten seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Brawler does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Clooten not landing any meaningful shots this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Clooten throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Brawler keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Clooten winds up and cracks Brawler with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Clooten not landing any meaningful shots this time. Clooten working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Clooten thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Brawler's head. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Clooten is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Clooten is pressing down on Brawler's thigh, looking to free his foot. Brawler is holding on for now. Brawler on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Brawler tries to get out of the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Clooten seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Brawler does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Clooten might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Brawler kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Clooten passes to full mount! Clooten content just to control the position here. Clooten putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Brawler is bucking up trying to escape but Clooten cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Clooten looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Clooten jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Brawler is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Brawler and Clooten has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Clooten working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Christian Clooten showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Brawler throws a right hand that Clooten ducks under and follows up with a left that Clooten also avoids with ease. Brawler slips under a jab. Clooten swings widly with a right hand
and Brawler cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Clooten shoots in looking for a takedown. Brawler tries to sprawl out of it but Clooten keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Brawler manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. A left lands for Clooten. Clooten misses with a straight right. Clooten rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Brawler counters with a straight right hand. Clooten lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Clooten scores a takedown into full mount! Clooten lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Brawler hang on?
That's one minute gone in the round. Clooten can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Brawler is looking to escape. Clooten landing strikes from the mount and Brawler is in trouble! Brawler holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Clooten tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Clooten is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Brawler has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Brawler!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Clooten has his foot on Brawler's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Brawler works his way back into a safe position though. Brawler has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Clooten is proving hard to escape from. Brawler gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Brawler throws a lazy uppercut
and Clooten connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Clooten circles away from the clinch attempt and Clooten counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Clooten trying to control the position from guard on top but Brawler is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Clooten is pushing down on Brawler's leg trying to pass to half guard. Brawler is fighting to maintain full guard but Clooten has managed to sneak the leg through. Clooten is looking for submissions but instead, Brawler has regained full guard.
Clooten controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Clooten throws a strike but Brawler rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Christian Clooten is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Clooten manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Brawler manages to get himself to full guard.
Clooten is looking to work some ground and pound but Brawler has wrist control. Clooten is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Christian Clooten has got the better of the ground game so far. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Clooten's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
And that's the end of the fight! Christian Clooten comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Clooten winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
