The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blaze throws a series of punches but Schmidt avoids them all with ease.
Horrible takedown by Schmidt or perhaps it was just good defense by Blaze which made him look bad.
Schmidt takes one to the side of the head.
Blaze throws a jab but it's blocked by Schmidt.
Blaze connects with a looping right hand.
Blaze looks to throw the jab but Schmidt is out of range.
Blaze fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Schmidt checks it well.
Schmidt gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Blaze counters with a stiff right hand.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Schmidt tries to clinch but Blaze moves out of range.
Blaze scores with a punch to the head.
It looks like Nolan Schmidt has been cut.
Blaze scores with a jab. Schmidt acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Blaze lands a body shot.
Schmidt checks a low kick from Blaze.
Blaze lands with a big right hook that stumbles Schmidt - he's out on his feet here! Blaze follows up with another monster hook that separates Schmidt from consciousness! Schmidt falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Blaze stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
