Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ronnie Nose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Cain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ronnie Nose! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Scott Cain! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Cain is defended easily by Nose. Cain uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Nose.
Cain tries to clinch but Nose is having none of it. Jab by Cain. Cain misses with a body punch
and Nose counters with a takedown into side control. Nose is working Cain over with some ground and pound from side control. Nose scoring with punches and elbows. Cain sneaks back into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nose sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Cain defending well though. Cain is looking for a sweep. Nose is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Cain is refusing to be controlled, as Nose sits in half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nose is looking to advance position but Cain won't allow it. Nose is looking to take a break and control but Cain is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Cain keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Cain gets back to full guard.
Cain escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Nose gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Nose makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Cain has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Nose should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Cain has tightened it up now! Nose should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Scott Cain! Scott Cain is the new featherweight champion!
