Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Noah CD (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barbara Boxer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barbara Boxer has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Noah CD's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Noah CD!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Barbara Boxer!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Gwen Towbar and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boxer avoids the body shot from CD.
Boxer checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
CD fails with an attempt to clinch.
CD lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Boxer connects with a leg kick. CD looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
CD fails with an attempt to clinch.
Boxer misses with a body kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Boxer keeps the fight on the outside.
Noah CD seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
CD connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Boxer throws a big shot that misses.
CD waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Boxer.
CD misses with a straight right.
Boxer blocks a head kick by CD.

CD has taken the fight to the clinch.
CD misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Boxer tries to break the clinch but CD is controlling the position.
CD misses with some punches.

Boxer lands a takedown into guard.

Boxer controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Boxer pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. CD is keeping the position for now.
CD trying to control the position.
CD is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Boxer is controlling him.
Boxer showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
CD looks to land a body kick but Boxer moved away.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
CD throws a hook to the side of Boxer's head but Boxer sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
CD moves in looking to clinch but Boxer pushes him off.
A slow jab from Boxer misses its intended target.
CD tries to close the distance and clinch up but Boxer swats him away and circles back towards the center.
CD bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
CD fails with an attempt to clinch.
CD is looking to clinch.
CD throws out a leg kick but Boxer moves out of range and CD only half commits.
Boxer chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before CD can pounce on him.
CD misses with a low kick.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
CD tries to clinch but Boxer moves out of range.
CD moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Noah CD will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!



Boxer closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Boxer prevents CD from escaping the position.
A lull in the action here.
CD is not content to let Boxer control the position.
Boxer is staying tight to CD's torso, preventing him from escaping.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Let's hope that Boxer has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Barbara Boxer was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Boxer throws a leg kick that is checked
and CD counters with a nice kick to the body.
Boxer shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with CD but CD pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Boxer blocks a head kick by CD.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
CD misses with a straight left.
Boxer looks to throw a body kick
and CD counters with a nice low kick that buckles Boxer's knee momentarily.
CD fails with an attempt to clinch.
Boxer throws a leg kick but CD sees it coming and moves out of range.
CD throws a leg kick
and Boxer counters with a good low kick that CD was not able to check.
Boxer tries to clinch up.
CD lands a right hook to the body.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Boxer lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Nice body punch from Boxer.
CD tries to clinch
and Boxer counters with a leg kick.
Noah CD is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
CD is looking to score with low kicks.
Boxer throws a wild body kick that CD sees coming a mile off.
CD is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
A nice inside leg kick there by CD. That's going to slow Boxer down.

CD misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A slow jab from Boxer misses its intended target.
CD blocks a jab.
CD looks to throw a body kick
and Boxer counters with a good low kick that CD was not able to check.
CD throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Boxer counters with a right hand to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

CD moves into the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Barbara Boxer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! CD's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

CD goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

and CD counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Boxer moves away from the strike by CD.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Boxer walks into a straight right hand from CD.
CD misses with a hook. Boxer ducked under it nicely.
CD doesn't manage to clinch there - Boxer circles away.
Boxer lands a nice looking kick to the body. CD takes a step back to recover.
CD misses with a leg kick.
Boxer shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says CD as he avoids it easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Boxer misses the jab.
A good leg kick by CD.
Boxer throws a leg kick
and CD counters with an outside leg kick.
CD will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
CD dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Boxer. That did some damage!
CD is looking to clinch but Boxer is avoiding it.
CD moves into range and connects with a jab.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
CD connects with an inside leg kick.
CD swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
CD ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
CD throws a leg kick that is checked
and Boxer counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
CD lands the left hand.
Barbara Boxer seems to be getting the better of the standup.
CD scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

And that's the end of the fight!
Barbara Boxer comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Boxer has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
