And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dickie Thon!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Loeffler thows a body shot but no joy.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Loeffler misses with a looping right.
Thon misses with a hook. Loeffler ducked under it nicely.
Thon swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Thon connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Loeffler looks to land a combination but Thon avoids it well.
Loeffler needs to keep his hands up - Thon had a free shot at his head there.
Thon blocks a head kick by Loeffler.
Thon stuffs the takedown.
Loeffler has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Thon finds it's way round the side to connect with Loeffler's head.
Loeffler is rocked!
Loeffler circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Thon. Loeffler falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Thon!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Dickie Thon!
