Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Igor Zveroboy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aleks Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Valeri Chadov and Igor Prikhodko.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zveroboy fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Zveroboy closes the distance and clinches up with Emelianenko, looking for a takedown. Zveroboy pushes Emelianenko against the cage but Emelianenko circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Emelianenko feints a jab promting Zveroboy to slip. Emelianenko then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Zveroboy slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Zveroboy shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Zveroboy shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Emelianenko is trying to defend but Zveroboy finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Emelianenko flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Emelianenko tries to kick Zveroboy off but Zveroboy keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Zveroboy seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Emelianenko does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Emelianenko has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Zveroboy is working away from the top position though.
Emelianenko tries to roll over but Zveroboy keeps him under control.
Emelianenko is looking to control Zveroboy's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Emelianenko avoid being mounted?

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Aleks Emelianenko.
Emelianenko stuffs the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Igor Zveroboy. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Zveroboy is breathing heavily.

Zveroboy looks for a takedown but Emelianenko sprawls well.
Emelianenko fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Zveroboy avoids it really well and circles away.
Zveroboy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Emelianenko tries to avoid it but Zveroboy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Emelianenko to the ground. Emelianenko escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Zveroboy blocks a leg kick.
Emelianenko connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Emelianenko pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Zveroboy checks the leg kick nicely there.
Emelianenko fails in his attempt to clinch.
Emelianenko lands a jab-cross combination.
Emelianenko fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Emelianenko stalks Zveroboy and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Zveroboy's face. Zveroboy staggers backwards, shaken.

Emelianenko closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
