Bagwell's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Eminem - Not Afraid. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Viktor Herzog enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bagwell misses with a body shot.
Bagwell leaves Herzog with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Bagwell throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Herzog was covering up waiting for the punch and Bagwell finishes the takedown easily into guard. Bagwell throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Herzog working for a triangle but Bagwell defends it easily.
Bagwell trying to control but Herzog is working from the bottom. Bagwell is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Herzog is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Bagwell stopping the sweep attempt from Herzog.
That's one minute gone in the round. Herzog bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bagwell's guard. Herzog missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Herzog is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Bagwell is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Herzog accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Herzog must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Bagwell throws his legs up looking for a submission but Herzog uses it to pass to side control.
Herzog throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Bagwell works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. Bagwell looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Herzog missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Bagwell tries to get to full guard but Herzog has control of the leg. Herzog in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Bagwell tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Herzog!
