Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pollito Oviedo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oviedo's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Tony Presidio. The key to victory for Pollito Oviedo has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Pollito Oviedo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Anderson Silva!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Felipe Paraventi and Edson Gomes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Oviedo. Those never looked like landing.
Oviedo shoots in looking for a takedown. Silva tries to sprawl out of it but Oviedo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Silva manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Silva moves into the clinch.
Silva landing knees to the head.


It looks like Pollito Oviedo has been cut.

Silva ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Silva no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Silva wants to sweep but no luck.

Silva looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Oviedo will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Silva seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Oviedo is breathing heavily.
Silva manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Oviedo manages to get himself to full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Silva passes the guard and advances to mount!
Oviedo in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Oviedo is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Silva pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

I looks like Silva might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The referee warns Oviedo that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Silva takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Silva postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Oviedo looks a forlorn figure.

Silva is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Oviedo can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Silva takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Silva has eaten all the pies!

Silva is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Oviedo is forced to tap! Great finish!
