Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Manny Viera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alessio Meridio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Viera comes to the cage accompanied by Cypress Hill - Tequila Sunrise. Meridio has chosen All That Reamins - The Air I Breathe as his entrance music. Alessio Meridio is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Manny Viera! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alessio Meridio! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Meridio moves in looking to clinch but Viera pushes him off. Meridio fails with an attempt to clinch.
Viera misses with a series of wild punches.
Nice takedown defense from Viera. No joy for Meridio on that attempt. Meridio fails in his attempt to clinch. Meridio uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Viera.
Viera throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Viera misses with a few strikes there.
Manny Viera seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Meridio moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Viera drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Viera decides to take the fight back to the feet. Meridio tries to clinch up but Viera circles away and keeps his distance. Viera misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Viera shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Meridio counters with a nice double leg into side control. Viera won't be happy with that. Meridio looks gassed! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Meridio tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Viera tries to get back to half guard but can't. Meridio tries to stand but Viera is controlling his head. Meridio throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Meridio tries to stand but Viera is controlling his head. Viera regains half guard, as Meridio was trying to land strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Viera keeps control of the position for the meantime. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Viera trying to control here.
Meridio is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Viera is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
