Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nyrkki Sankari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Iiro Tolonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sankari comes to the cage accompanied by The Odorants - This Night. Tolonen has chosen Johnny Cash : The Man Comes Around as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Iiro Tolonen was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Roosa Järviläinen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sankari misses with a lunging right hand
and Tolonen counters with a single leg into guard. Sankari didn't expect that.
Sankari not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Tolonen tries to free his leg and advance position but Sankari is retaining full guard.
Sankari has his hands on Tolonen's head, controlling the position.
Tolonen trying to control but Sankari is working from the bottom.
Sankari wants to sweep but no luck.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Tolonen trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Tolonen throwing strikes from guard but Sankari blocks nicely.
Sankari wants to sweep here but Tolonen controlling him for the moment.

We're going to have a standup here because Nyrkki Sankari wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Sankari is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Tolonen.

Tolonen misses with a kick to the body.
A big left from Sankari misses.
Sankari throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Tolonen lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Sankari pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Tolonen misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Sankari avoids the head kick by Tolonen.
A nice leg kick lands there from Tolonen.
Sankari throws a right hand that misses
and Tolonen counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Nyrkki Sankari has been cut.
Sankari is breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tolonen cracks Sankari with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Sankari throws a poor cross that misses
and Tolonen counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Tolonen shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Tolonen trying to pass the guard but Sankari defending well.
Tolonen thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Sankari's head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tolonen not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Tolonen wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sankari keeps working.
Sankari is trying to get back to full guard.
Tolonen looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Sankari with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Tolonen is trying to control the action in half guard but Sankari is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Sankari is looking to improve his position.
Tolonen stalling.
Tolonen passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Sankari!
Tolonen controlling the pace for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Tolonen has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Sankari's face.
Sankari is wriggling around trying to escape.
Tolonen tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Sankari wants to hold on but Tolonen pushes him away.
Tolonen lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Tolonen lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Nyrkki Sankari's cut is getting worse.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tolonen connects with a bit shot that sees Sankari covering up! More strikes from Tolonen and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Tolonen is our winner by TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Iiro Tolonen!
