Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mimi La frite!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Owen Silva II!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Albert Achterberg and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva II darts in trying to clinch
and La frite counters with a takedown into side control.
Silva II wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
La frite goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Silva II has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for La frite but great work by Silva II.
La frite tries to bench press Silva II off him but Silva II keeps the position.
Silva II decides to stand back up. Silva II steps back and let's La frite get back to his feet.
La frite misses with a takedown attempt
and Silva II cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
La frite fails with the takedown.
La frite shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

La frite closes the distance and clinches.
Silva II is trying to break the clinch but La frite is controlling him.

Silva II has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

La frite has Silva II pressed against the cage, preventing Silva II from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

La frite drops down looking for an ankle pick but Silva II pulls his leg out and moves away.

Silva II's hands are dropping dangerously low here and La frite connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Silva II scrambles back to his feet.
Jab, jab by Silva II - just one landing.
Silva II tries to close the distance and clinch but La frite swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Silva II rushes La frite with punches - La frite moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, La frite goes down! Silva II follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
