Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mike Brunner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Issac Oliver!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paulsen Ambrosius and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliver fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Brunner shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Brunner showed some decent athleticism there.

Brunner is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Brunner seems to be looking for submissions.
Oliver is trying to get back to full guard.

Brunner is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Oliver to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Oliver shrugs it off.
Brunner fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Brunner working for a submission but Oliver is keeping him at bay.
Brunner can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Oliver is looking to escape.
Brunner breaks from Oliver's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Oliver working to try and regain half guard.

Brunner jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Oliver manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Oliver wants to control but Brunner postures up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Oliver is not content to let Brunner control the position.
Brunner scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Oliver to see if he's OK.
You can see the frustration on Oliver's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Oliver is looking for a sweep.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Brunner cracks Oliver with an elbow. That is naaassty.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mike Brunner dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


No joy there for Brunner, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Brunner works Oliver's body with a nice hook.

Brunner moves into the clinch.

Brunner breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Brunner lands a really nice looking cross but Oliver seems unphased.


Oliver is rocked!
Brunner lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Oliver up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Brunner from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Oliver's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mike Brunner!
