Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Darren Tamble (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thiago Puto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tamble comes to the cage accompanied by "Ignition" by Toby Mac. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Darren Tamble! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Thiago Puto! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tamble drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Tamble misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Puto avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Tamble. Tamble tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tamble working the body and head with strikes. Tamble has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Puto avoids a kick to the body.

Puto moves out of range as Tamble throws a body kick.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Puto ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Puto no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Puto is on top in guard.
Tamble is looking to stand up but Puto isn't so interested in that idea.
That's one minute gone in the round. Puto stands and steps away. Tamble gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Tamble doesn't manage to clinch there - Puto circles away.
Puto closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Tamble to the mat! Tamble manages to get full guard. Puto looking to pass the guard. Tamble is breathing heavily. Puto works a leg free and moves into half guard. Tamble slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Puto pushes down on Tamble's leg and manages to get into half guard. Tamble is trying to stand up here but Puto is controlling him well. Tamble tries to get to full guard but Puto has control of the leg. Tamble keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Tamble wants to get back to his feet.
Puto throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Puto stands up out of the half guard. Puto misses with a takedown and Tamble counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Puto's guard now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tamble in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Puto preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Tamble avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Puto working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tamble doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tamble manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Tamble decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Puto, up you get! Tamble changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Puto looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. You can see the frustration on Puto's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Tamble working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Sloppy strikes there by Tamble.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tamble tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Puto is trying to improve his position. Tamble decides to stand back up. Tamble steps back and let's Puto get back to his feet. A slapping leg kick lands for Tamble.

Puto avoids a punch combination nicely.
Tamble lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Puto backs up against the cage.
Puto avoids the head kick by Tamble.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Puto shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Tamble makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Puto really felt that one! Puto doesn't succeed with the takedown and Tamble counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Puto's guard now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Darren Tamble dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Tamble throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Tamble will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Nice sprawl there from Tamble as Puto shoots in. Tamble looks to land a combination but Puto avoids it well. Puto doesn't succeed with the takedown and Tamble counters with a straight right hand. Puto fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Puto fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Tamble sprawls well initially but Puto persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Puto is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Tamble defends it well. Tamble pushes Puto off and gets back to his feet. Tamble looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Puto is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tamble not landing any meaningful shots this time. Puto is in trouble now - Tamble has advanced to mount! Puto is wriggling around trying to escape.
Tamble looking to ground and pound but Puto is blocking nicely. Tamble working the ground and pound effectively.
Tamble has hold of Puto's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Puto manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Tamble thowing shots but they're missing. Tamble thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Puto is trying to escape the mount.
Puto has left one of his arms exposed and Tamble doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Puto screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Darren Tamble!
