Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sert Pier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pol Rawn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pier comes into the arena with All Nightmare Long blaring out of the sound system. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sert Pier! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pol Rawn! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Saam Ante and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rawn closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Pier to the mat! Pier manages to get full guard. Rawn is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Pol Rawn. Rawn drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rawn controls the position. Rawn is trying to get an arm triangle but Pier is defending well. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rawn is chipping away with strikes.
Pier on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Rawn tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Rawn has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Rawn is putting a hurting on Pier here, landing some big shots from side control. Rawn stands up. Rawn misses with a double jab.
Rawn tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Rawn shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Pier is trying to defend but Rawn finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Pier is breathing heavily. Pier looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rawn has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Rawn sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Rawn moves to the back position. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Rawn gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rawn has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Pier is in real trouble here. Rawn gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Pier is tapping out! Rawn wins by rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Pol Rawn!
