Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Sampaio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dean Perry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Perry has chosen Adagio for Strings by Samuel Barber as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sampaio takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Perry shoots in looking for a takedown. Sampaio tries to sprawl out of it but Perry keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sampaio manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Perry shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Sampaio is trying to defend but Perry finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Perry perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
