Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Trevor Gratis and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
El rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Pearson counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Pearson prevents El from standing back up.
El tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Pearson manages to move to mount!
The referee warns El that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
It looks like Kal El has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Pearson has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of El's face.
Pearson controlling the pace for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
El wants to control but Pearson is having none of it.
Pearson lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Pearson postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. El looks a forlorn figure.
El is rocked!
Kal El's cut is getting worse.
Pearson postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked El badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Pearson around the waist but Pearson pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Pearson is the winner by TKO! Pearson jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lester Pearson!
