Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Karl Jee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yrjo Pieru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jee's entrance music is Get The Funk Out Of My Face. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yrjo Pieru!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shigeki Sano and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pieru misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Pieru throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Jee tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Pieru is in Jee's guard.

Pieru throws a strike but Jee rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

That's time! Jee's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Pieru fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Jee throws an overhand right that lands on Pieru's shoulder, as Pieru tries to avoid the shot.

Pieru changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jee tries to avoid it but Pieru manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jee to the ground. Jee escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Pieru throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Jee was covering up waiting for the punch and Pieru finishes the takedown easily into guard.
