Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thor Armstrong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Veldrane Sengir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Thor Armstrong has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Thor Armstrong! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Veldrane Sengir! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Armstrong with a poor takedown and Sengir counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Armstrong misses with a takedown attempt and Sengir connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Armstrong moves to clinch but Sengir breaks away and Sengir counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Sengir drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Armstrong tries to bench press Sengir off him but Sengir keeps the position. Sengir staying calm. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. You can see the frustration on Armstrong's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Veldrane Sengir. Excellent takedown into side control there by Sengir.
That's one minute gone in the round. Armstrong is looking to reverse the position. Sengir works to advance to full mount. Armstrong defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Sengir looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

Sengir controlling his opponent. Sengir's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. It looks like Sengir might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Sengir tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Sengir with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Sengir is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Sengir scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Sengir gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Armstrong throws a sloppy head kick and Sengir counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Armstrong's guard now. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sengir is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Armstrong looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Sengir must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Armstrong is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Sengir postures up.
Sengir engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sengir gets to his feet - Armstrong follows without any prompting. Armstrong tries to clinch and Sengir counters with a shoot takedown. Armstrong fights it but they end up in guard. Sengir controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Veldrane Sengir wasn't active enough on the ground. Sengir rushes Armstrong and presses him up against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sengir tries to score a body lock takedown but Armstrong shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Sengir turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Sengir manages to end up in side control. Armstrong is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Sengir in side control, just content to control the action for now. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sengir is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Armstrong is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. An elbow from Sengir crashes against the mat.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sengir stands up and beckons Armstrong to his feet. Armstrong throws a sloppy head kick and Sengir counters with a shoot takedown. Armstrong fights it but they end up in guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Veldrane Sengir dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Sengir jabs at Armstrong's body. Armstrong feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Sengir wants to sweep here but Armstrong controlling him for the moment. Sengir keeping moving, preventing Armstrong from controlling successfully. Armstrong avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Sengir looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Armstrong wanted to stand there but Sengir had control of the position. Sengir seems keen to control Armstrong's posture.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Armstrong drops back, looking for a kneebar! Sengir looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Sengir looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Sengir! Sengir taking a breather here. Veldrane Sengir has got the better of the ground game so far. Sengir scoring with punches from side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Sengir stands up. Sengir changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Armstrong looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Sengir working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. You can see the frustration on Armstrong's face as Sengir controls the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sengir tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Armstrong might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Sengir stands up and beckons Armstrong to his feet. Sengir darts in and clinches Armstrong up against the cage. Armstrong tries to land a knee to the head but Sengir blocks with his arms.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Sengir controlling from the top position. Armstrong controls Sengir momentarily but Sengir frees himself. Sengir is stalling in the full guard. Armstrong can't keep his opponent in guard - Sengir advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Sengir is taking a breather. Armstrong says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Veldrane Sengir wasn't active enough on the ground. Sengir pivots, looking for a leg kick but Armstrong is out of range and Sengir settles back down. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Veldrane Sengir showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Sengir shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Sengir was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Sengir takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Sengir stands up from mount. Strange move. Armstrong swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Sengir counters with a nice double leg into guard. Armstrong is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Sengir stays in close to Armstrong's body and controls the position. Armstrong throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Sengir is stalling in the full guard. Armstrong has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sengir can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sengir forces his way into half guard. Sengir seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Veldrane Sengir is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Sengir controlling from mount. Sengir has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Sengir is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Sengir scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Sengir stands up. Armstrong walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sengir looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Armstrong! Sengir with the ground and pound from mount. Sengir controlling from mount. Sengir is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Sengir!
