Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Narcissus Fernandez Junior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sloppy Seconds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Narcissus Fernandez Junior! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sloppy Seconds! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Roosa Järviläinen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Seconds closes the distance and clinches. Fernandez Junior wants to break the clinch but can't.
Fernandez Junior wants to break free but Seconds has control.
Seconds is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Fernandez Junior pulls him back up using the underhooks. Seconds tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Seconds lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Fernandez Junior wants to break free but Seconds has control.
Fernandez Junior prevents Seconds from breaking the clinch. Fernandez Junior blocks the elbow strike.
Seconds is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Fernandez Junior can't fight it off and eventually Seconds manages to take the fight to the floor. Fernandez Junior looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Seconds controls from within his opponent's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Seconds with a flurry of punches that miss. Seconds tries to free his leg and advance position but Fernandez Junior is retaining full guard. Seconds is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Sloppy Seconds wasn't active enough on the ground. Seconds moves out of range of the body kick from Fernandez Junior.
Fernandez Junior pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Fernandez Junior throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Fernandez Junior tries to clinch up and Seconds counters with a shoot takedown. Fernandez Junior fights it but they end up in guard. Seconds is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Seconds throwing strikes from guard but Fernandez Junior blocks nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Seconds stands up from Fernandez Junior's guard - Seconds perhaps looking for a knockout. Seconds changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Fernandez Junior looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Seconds controls the position from side control. Fernandez Junior is breathing heavily. Seconds looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Seconds stands up and beckons Fernandez Junior to his feet. Seconds darts in and clinches Fernandez Junior up against the cage. Seconds tightens his grip and picks Fernandez Junior up, before dumping him to the ground. Fernandez Junior manages to land in guard. Seconds throwing strikes from guard but Fernandez Junior blocks nicely. Seconds is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sloppy Seconds dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Seconds drives through and clinches with Fernandez Junior against the cage.
Fernandez Junior's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Fernandez Junior is trying to push Seconds away but Seconds has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Seconds has clasped his hands together around Fernandez Junior's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Fernandez Junior is looking for a sweep. Seconds decides to stand back up. Seconds steps back and let's Fernandez Junior get back to his feet. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Fernandez Junior. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Fernandez Junior lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Seconds has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Seconds and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Narcissus Fernandez Junior is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Seconds shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Fernandez Junior napping and manages to drive through into side control! Seconds lands a decent elbow from side control. Fernandez Junior gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
That's one minute gone in the round. Seconds moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Fernandez Junior has worked his arm free - good work by Fernandez Junior!
Seconds stands up and beckons Fernandez Junior to his feet. Seconds closes the distance and pushes Fernandez Junior back into the cage. Seconds pulls guard effortlessly.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Seconds seems keen to control Fernandez Junior's posture. Seconds has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Fernandez Junior off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Seconds fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Fernandez Junior sprawls well initially but Seconds persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Seconds is figuring out what he wants to do next. Seconds is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Seconds is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Seconds looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Fernandez Junior with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Seconds trying to control the pace. Sloppy Seconds has got the better of the ground game so far. Seconds is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Fernandez Junior knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Seconds on the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Seconds controlling from mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sloppy Seconds showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Seconds fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Fernandez Junior sprawls well initially but Seconds persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Seconds is thwarting Fernandez Junior's attempts to control the position. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Seconds drops an elbow to the side of Fernandez Junior's head. Seconds landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Seconds stands up and beckons Fernandez Junior to join him on the feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Excellent takedown into side control there by Seconds. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Seconds is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Fernandez Junior's shoulder. That is not cool.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Seconds advances to full mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Seconds landing strikes from the mount and Fernandez Junior is in trouble! Seconds takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Seconds with a couple of short strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Seconds sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Fernandez Junior in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Seconds controlling the position easily from mount.
And that's the end of the fight! Sloppy Seconds comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Seconds has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
