Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Weiner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Bergstrom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Carlos Weiner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Marcus Bergstrom! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Marco Blurström and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bergstrom fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Bergstrom doesn't succeed with the takedown letting Weiner counter with a right hand. Weiner misses with a hook
and Bergstrom counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Weiner's guard now. Bergstrom wants to pass the guard but Weiner is keeping the position. Weiner is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Bergstrom passes Weiner's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Bergstrom missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Bergstrom is thwarting Weiner's attempts to control the position. Weiner avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Bergstrom. Bergstrom wants to pass to mount but Weiner is defending the position. Weiner controlling the position for now. Bergstrom frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Bergstrom unloads with some shots from mount but Weiner bucks and avoids them well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Weiner tries to hold on but Bergstrom postures up. Bergstrom raining down hammerfists from mount. Bergstrom in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Bergstrom sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Weiner is in a horrible position here. Bergstrom smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Weiner knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bergstrom on the ground. Bergstrom putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bergstrom won't let Weiner get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Bergstrom landing strikes from the mount. Bergstrom with a couple of short strikes. Bergstrom with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Weiner defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Bergstrom. Weiner wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A nice elbow there by Bergstrom. Bergstrom working for a guillotine from mount but Weiner is in no mood to give up. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bergstrom looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Bergstrom avoids the attempt from Weiner to control. Bergstrom lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Bergstrom lands a heavy elbow. Bergstrom looking to secure an arm triangle but Weiner defends it well. You get the feeling that Weiner really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Bergstrom cracks Weiner with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Bergstrom cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Bergstrom working for a submission but Weiner is keeping him at bay. Weiner is looking to get to half guard. Bergstrom is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Weiner can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Bergstrom fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Bergstrom raining down shots from the mount! Weiner can't escape the position.
Bergstrom lands with some strikes. Weiner manages to regain half guard. Good work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Weiner has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bergstrom is working away from the top position though. Weiner keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Well, if Bergstrom is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Bergstrom is trying to control. Weiner wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bergstrom is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Weiner defends it well. Weiner trying to control but Bergstrom postures up.
Bergstrom stops Weiner from getting back to his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Nice strikes from Bergstrom there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marcus Bergstrom dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
No luck for Bergstrom with that takedown attempt. Bergstrom misses with a takedown attempt and Weiner makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Bergstrom with a poor takedown and Weiner counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Carlos Weiner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marcus Bergstrom. No luck with that takedown attempt from Bergstrom. Bergstrom walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Weiner swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Bergstrom. A jab lands there for Weiner. Weiner fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Bergstrom closes this distance looking for a takedown but Weiner circles away. Weiner is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Bergstrom closes the distance and clinches up with Weiner, looking for a takedown. Bergstrom pushes Weiner against the cage but Weiner circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Bergstrom looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Bergstrom walks into a left hand. This has been an exciting period of action! Weiner lands with a hook. Bergstrom tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Weiner fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Bergstrom on the side of the head. Bergstrom on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Bergstrom is rocked! Bergstrom is breathing heavily. Bergstrom circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Weiner. Bergstrom falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Weiner!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Carlos Weiner!
