Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Diego Raven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas More (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thomas More has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Diego Raven! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Thomas More! The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Aleksandr Martynov and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! More throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Raven counters with a straight right hand. Raven misses with a takedown attempt and More connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Diego Raven has been cut. More throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Raven. More throws a poor cross that misses
and Raven counters with a single leg into guard. More didn't expect that. Raven sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed More's guard. Raven is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. More doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Raven. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Raven is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, More has managed to free his arm - good work. Raven is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so More is just riding it out for now. Raven eventually gives up the hold.
That's one minute gone in the round. Raven works his way into full mount! Raven works his way to his opponent's back.
More defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Raven's arms. Raven is looking for the choke from the back position but More is controlling his hands well. Raven working for a choke but More is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. More is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Raven is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. More knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften More for a finish. Raven looking to break More's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. More remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Raven will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Raven looking for the choke but no joy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Raven is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but More has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Raven tightening his grip on More, looking for the choke. More is in a bad position with Raven working for a choke. More manages to spin nicely into guard and the danger is over for the moment. More got a little sloppy there for a moment and Raven has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, More has managed to get both his arms back between Raven's legs - danger averted.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Raven wants to sweep but no luck. More wants to stand but Raven is controlling his posture from full guard. Raven looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Raven is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Raven wants to free his trapped foot but More is holding on for dear life with his legs. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if More can do anything to dispel that myth. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Raven is looking for a kimura but More is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Raven to get the leverage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Diego Raven dominated that round. The cut man is working on Diego Raven's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
More misses with a straight left. More is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Raven. Raven closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming More to the mat! More manages to get full guard. Raven slips nicely into half guard. Raven working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on More's thigh. More counters though and makes it back to full guard. Raven stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. More swivels though and keeps the full guard. Raven is working hard here to advance position. More is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Raven stands and throws More's legs to the side, diving into side control. Raven tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Raven goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, More has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Raven but great work by More. Raven manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Raven makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Raven. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Raven is on top in guard.
Raven stands and throws More's legs to the side, diving into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Raven tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Raven has hold of More's arm. He's looking for a kimura. More seems comfortable defending it but Raven has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! More is real pain and he's forced to tap out! More is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Raven couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Diego Raven! Diego Raven retains his featherweight title!
